Agenda for Smart Freight Centre Launch, April 18, 2019
The launch received support from Musket Transport Limited and Commercial Heavy Equipment Training Ltd. (CHET).
- Musket Transport Limited plays an active role in the Peel Region Goods Movement Task Force and its mandate for further improving goods movement in Peel and surrounding areas. It is a Mississauga-based trucking firm that also offers driver training schools.
- Commercial Heavy Equipment Training Ltd. (CHET) offers driver training programs for new truck operators, a vital role to relieve shortages of trained operators in the industry. This type of training program also addresses the employment goals for the GTHA.
